
A video emerged online showing a group of young punks illegally vaping in public, at a void deck.
They were also allegedly drinking alcohol past the restricted timing of 10.30pm.
Under section 16(2A) of the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act (TCASA), it is illegal to possess, purchase and use vaporisers in Singapore as of 1 February 2018.
Persons found guilty of this offence can be fined up to $2,000.
Under the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act, as of 30th January 2015, it is illegal to consume alcohol in a public place after 10.30pm.
First time offenders face a fine of up to $1000. Repeat offenders can be fined up to $2000 plus risk imprisonment of up to three months.
