I don’t think I’m old enough to be in the boomer generation but sometimes I really find the younger colleagues in my office very self-entitled and spoilt.
A lot of times I see the way they treat the cleaning auntie in our office I really feel like smacking them on the head but youngsters these days anything also can report police so I dont want to get myself into any trouble.
It’s true that the cleaning auntie’s job is to clean the office but everyone definitely should be responsible for their own mess. She’s hired to clean the office, not to pick up after the employees. I see some of them drink finish coffee already just leave the cup in the sink.

They waiting for who to help? Some are even worse. After eating their food at the pantry, they don’t even bother clearing up and just leave everything there. Then the poor auntie has to pick up all their rubbish or risk being scolded by our manager.
One time lagi best, this girl scolded the auntie and kicked up such a big fuss when auntie threw away her half-eaten salad and she even had the nerve to demand payment from auntie.
Seriously I feel sad and ashamed to be associated with people like this. What is the world coming to??
