
A 22-year-old young punk was charged with four counts of voluntarily causing hurt to others.
According to the court documents, the young punk has been fighting with his girlfriend constantly and he had even physically abused her which led to their break up in Sep 2018. On 27 Sep 2018, the victim ran into the young punk outside of her condominium.
The victim tried to avoid the young punk but she was captured by him instead. The young punk then kicked the victim in the abdomen and pulled her into a corner. Thankfully, the couple was spotted by a neighbour and the victim managed to escape.
In December 2018, the young punk sent a photo of a knife to the victim and threatened to kill her with it. The police were alerted. Shortly after the incident in December, the victim bumped into him again in front of a Primary School in Jurong West.
The victim then shouted for help but was slapped by the young punk instead. She then proceeded to seek help from the school’s security guard.
During the court hearing, the defence lawyer pointed out that the young punk is currently serving the national service and has intended to continue his studies. He will also be inheriting his father’s business in the future.
The judge then said that both parties were going through some emotions issue at the time of the incident. Hence has requested the case to be further reviewed and it has be adjourned to 26 Feb 2021.
