Such a bizarre and frustrating ordeal became a reality for Eyna Ariffin, who recently took to social media to vent her frustration and uncover the identity of the audacious food thief.

In the wee hours of October 26, Eyna’s food delivery from Burger Geprek at Woodlands North Plaza met a peculiar fate – it disappeared into thin air.

The Culinary Heist

A month or so ago, Eyna Ariffin experienced the first incident when her Monster Curry order went missing. However, it was the theft of her Geprek delivery that truly ruffled her feathers.

Frustrated and determined to expose the thief, Eyna turned to Facebook, where she shared her grievances with a touch of warning. She said: “Last month steal Monster curry, today steal geprek. I lost almost $50 worth of food as of today. First, i want to find the parents. Whose child is this? The parents if inside here better pm me. What is your kid doing?”

She later updated her Facebook post, saying: “dn worry, this one extra. Because im petty and i greatly despise people messing w my food. Not food. No. Just no. NOPE. Naaah. NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE. Also, i want the parents present. I still cannot accept. Until now i havent eat. IM VERY UPSET I DIDNT GET TO EAT WHAT I WANTED YTD”

The Late-Night Craving

Eyna had placed an order from Burger Geprek, anticipating a delicious late-night meal. The delivery arrived promptly at 3:24 am, and a photo taken by her food delivery rider captured her meal hanging from a hook on her front gate.

However, joy quickly turned to bewilderment as Eyna’s food vanished into the night, stolen shortly after its delivery. The perplexing incident left her craving unanswered.

The Culprit Revealed

CCTV footage shared in her Facebook post shed light on the identity of the brazen thief. A teenage boy was seen standing at her front cate at about 3.32am before leaving shortly after.

Eyna’s frustration escalated as she recalled a previous delivery order made on September 22, which had also mysteriously disappeared. She strongly believes that the same teenage culprit was behind both thefts, where she lost almost $50 to the thefts.

A police report into the incident has also been lodged.
