YP SAYS FACEBOOK IS FOR ‘UNCLES’ & ‘AUNTIES’, NOT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

I recently heard my YP cousin saying “Facebook is for uncles and aunties to use.”

As much as I hate to admit it, I kind of agree with what he said. I’m a 30-something year-old who grew up using Facebook, and it’s just not the same anymore.

It’s not just that it’s not cool anymore; I’ve seen a real shift in how people use it.

When I was younger, Facebook was the place to go to stay in touch with friends and family, post pictures, and keep up with the news.

Now, it seems like people are using it more as a place to post their opinions, share memes, and share those ‘motivational’ stuff.

It’s not really the same as it used to be.

In addition, I’ve noticed that younger people are much more likely to use different social media platforms than Facebook.

Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok are all much more popular among their age group than Facebook.

These platforms offer different types of content and engagement than Facebook, and people their age seem to be more attracted to that.

People in their age group are more likely to use other platforms that offer more features and a more modern way of engaging with content.

I’m not saying that Facebook is completely outdated, though. It still has its uses, and some people still find it useful.
