A YP has recently shared his thoughts about Singaporean girls on NUSWhisper group stating that he thinks that girls who are obsessed with Korean dramas and idols are disgusting.
According to his post, everything started with his ex-girlfriend being obsessed with Korean dramas and idols. He mentioned that she has constantly told him about all her obsession and he is sick of it. Eventually, he decided to ghost her.
After his break up with his ex-girlfriend, he went online and realised that many Singaporeans girls are obsessed with Korean dramas and idols. He then said that he feels that these obsessions are disgusting.

“Male (21) just need a place to rant
Just broke up with my girlfriend (you know who you are) over her obsession with Korean dramas and idols. She was so sweet and nice when we first met as friends but as we got closer and closer she started to reveal her degenerate “koreaboo” side.
At first, I was pretty ok with it since I thought it was just a minor side interest (we used to go to a bar hoping and partying quite a fair bit), but after we started going out she exposed more of her disgusting hobby to me. I decided to put up with it since she was such a nice girl but it eventually got on my nerves and I had no choice but to ghost her.
The final straw that made me write this was browsing thru Twitter (thanks to her) and realising that so many of Singaporean girls are also these disgusting, obsessive koreaboos. My friends tell me that it’s very normal but I just can’t stand the thought of so many Singaporean girls being interested in such inane hobbies. Have I been living under a rock these past 21 (going 22 soon) years?
