YPS AT CONCERT USE “MOSH PIT” AS AN EXCUSE TO HANTAM EACH OTHER

A video emerged online showing a large group of youth inside what appears to be a “mosh pit”, albeit with a little twist of their own.

A mosh pit is an area in front of a stage where the audiences “mosh” together, pushing and slamming each other to the music.

However, in this variation of the “mosh pit”, a few acts of violence could be seen – one guy was seen in the middle of mayhem getting kicked by another guy in black.

Potentials penalties

According to Chapter 224 of the Penal Code, anyone who disturbs public peace by fighting in public is guilty of committing an affray.

Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to one year and/or a fine of up to $5,000.

According to Chapter 321 of the Penal Code, anyone who performs an act that causes hurt to a person is guilty of Voluntarily Causing Hurt.

Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to 3 years and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
