The original scheduled dealing for the works to be completed was 2025 and the new deadline was announced by Las Vegas Sands’s (LVS) CEO and chairman Rob Goldstein.

The renovation works are currently ongoing.

LVS is putting their money on tourism recovery, especially on “high-value tourism”, counting on the VTLs to bring in revenue into Singapore.

The renovation projects on the first 2 towers are described as bringing “luxurious suite products”, and those upgrades are expected to be done between 2022 and 2023, in phases.

A $9 million expansion plan that costs $9 billion was originally mooted in 2019 for the two integrated resorts, including the building of a fourth tower that consists of a luxury hotel with 1,000 rooms, as well as a 15,000 seat entertainment arena.

RWS will also be adding a new oceanarium, and the Minion Park and Super Nintendo World, the latter two to be added to USS.
