A netizen shared a photo on Facebook stating that the price of the drinks at Terminal 1 is expensive.
For a cup of milo serve in a paper cup, it seems like it requires an arm or a leg.
On the receipt, it states that it was bought from Anjappar & Kallash Parbat Restaurant, the photo invited heated discussions among netizens with some of them stating that it is due to the high rental prices which resulted in the consumers suffering.

The netizen who posted the photo said:
Very small cup leh…very expensive leh…at this time at this terminal 1…anyway…just sharing to u all…
Here are what netizens think:
This is very costly regardless of the location. This is not special coffee/milo. Look to me sth I am still ok to pay $2.50 for but $4? Rental high also not anyhow charge leh.
A netizen pointed out that in Australia a cup of milo cost $12 but was quickly shot down by another netizen who said that there are minimum wages of $20 in Australia and the argument was like comparing apples and pear.
A netizen who saw the photo described it as a “Broad Daylight Robbery”
Facebook user Colin Biswas commented:
“You mean just for the 3 paper cups of coffee cost $20.60? This is called “BROAD DAYLIGHT ROBERRY”. I would for sure bring my coffee in a small flask and have it anytime. Open your eyes to see robbery is taking place right in front of your eyes. Don’t fall into this affluent and high class cost of living. The cost of living has really shot up but you can shot down by not patronizing such places for your coffee. Frustrate them by drinking from your flask in front of their shop but not inside.“
