13,011 NEW CASES IN SINGAPORE, 3 DEATHS


The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported a total of 13,011 new cases on 8th February 2022 with 3 fatalities.

12,791 are local and 220 are imported cases.

The weekly growth rate is up to 1.69 (Yesterday was 1.52)

Case details

Of the 13,011 new cases, 10,065 cases are tested positive through ART of which 10,038 are local and 27 are imported.

2,946 cases were confirmed after testing with PCR with 2,753 local cases and 193 imported cases.

MOH reported 3 death cases bringing to death toll to 877.

Other data:

There are currently 1,194 patients in the hospital with 107 of them requiring oxygen and 23 are in the ICU.

92% of Singapore’s population has completed the vaccination program.

61% of Singapore’s population has received booster shots.

In total Singapore has recorded 418,640 COVID-19 cases from the start of the coronavirus.
