A 14-year-old boy was charged with murder after he killed his own father at their Flora Road residences.

The incident happened yesterday (11 Dec), the police were alerted at 10.10 am to a case where police assistance was required. Upon police arrival, a 49-year-old man was found injured and lying motionlessly on the ground.
The boy was arrested on the scene and his father the 49-year-old man was conveyed to Changi General Hospital for treatment. However, the man was later pronounced dead in the hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
