The body of a 14-year-old boy was found 15 metres from the shore of Changi Beach Park by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

A call for water rescue assistance at the area was made at about 3.30pm yesterday (August 22) and when they arrived, there was only one person, who was then conveyed to Changi General Hospital; the other missing teenager was no where to be found.
Divers from the Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (DART) were deployed to search underwater for the missing teenager and he was pronouned dead on scene when found.
The police are investigating the unnatural death.
