A 15-year-old boy in Malaysia pleaded guilty after being charged with two counts of incest after engaging in intercourse with his 14-year-old sister twice and getting her pregnant.
The girl ended up giving birth to their child in their family home in Jepol, Negeri Sembilan about a week ago.
The Star reported that the accused committed the crimes between 21 and 30 June 2022, and again between 1 and 10 September 2022.
He purportedly had intercourse with his sister in their family home from between 11pm and midnight, on both nights.
He was charged under Section 376B(1) of the Penal Code on Thursday, and if convicted, faces a jail term of between 10 to 30 years and the possibility of caning.
Section 376B relates to a person committing incest if he has intercourse with another person whose relationship to him is such that he is not permitted under the law, religion, or custom to marry her.
The girl gave birth to a healthy baby boy on 16 February, in the toilet of their family home with the help of their mother, according to Harian Metro.
It is unclear who is caring for the baby at the moment.
The boy is awaiting conviction and is not allowed to have any contact with his sister and must live away from her at the moment.
He was granted release on a RM4,000 bail with a guarantor and is waiting for a court mention on 22 March, and if he does get bailed, he will have to report to a police station monthly until his case finishes.
