A 19-year-old girl, Huang Baoying, was found motionless at a Block 602, Clementi West Street 1.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her 29-year-old brother, Huang Bocan, was arrested for voluntarily causing grievous hurt, and he will be charged in court on 6 May.
He is being accused of using a wooden pole to hit his sister.
The Singapore Police said that they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at the residential unit on 5 May, at about 6.30am.

The victim was found lying motionless at the scene when the police arrived.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the man is the biological brother of the victim.
