2 CERTIS OFFICERS SLASHED BY 30 Y.O USING A SICKLE AT CANBERRA

According to a Police media release, a 30-year-old man was arrested after he attacked two cisco officers.

The 30-year-old punched and slashed two Certis officers with a sickle, the incident happened at Canberra Link(Near Sembawang) at around 7.30 PM on 9 November 2020.

The Police said: “One officer was allegedly punched in the face and the other officer was allegedly slashed on his hand and legs by the man with a sickle, The man fled the scene before the police’s arrival.”

The above weapon was used in the crime, blood stains are obvious on the handle of the sickly.

The Certis officers were attached to NEA as enforcement officers. Both officers were sent to Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital for treatment.

After attacking both officers the man ran away, but Police cameras were able to identify the man. Officers from the Woodlands Police Division arrested the man a few hours later.
