25-year-old Indian national Subramanian Muralimanogarjoshi, was charged on 2 January with criminal trespass and outrage of modesty with wrongful restraint.
He had allegedly gone into a female toilet and pushed a woman into a cubicle, locking the door as he molested her in the wee hours of New Year at Sentosa.
He had trespassed into the Siloso Beach women’s toilet at about 2.55am on 1 January, planning to commit the offence.
He allegedly pushed a woman into one of the toilet cubicles and locked the door behind him before proceeding to grope her chest.
The police were alerted to the incident about half an hour later, and he was identified and arrested within 2 hours of the report being lodged.
He was remanded on 2 January and his hearing has been adjourned to 30 January.
