A 27-year-old guy shared how he thinks a 51-year-old woman likes him and likes to touch him as well.
Here is the story
I’m not sure what to do, or even how to approach this.
Tammy is 51. She’s petite, but is well put together. I am 27, tall with an average build, and long hair. We work at a general store.
Tammy is nice to generally everybody, but she doesn’t really talk to a lot of the others. She is also nice to me, but in sort of a different way. Tammy will get really close to me to talk to me. Sometimes she’ll even whisper so I have to get close to listen to her. Tammy has also helped me out of a tough spot or two, and refused any sort of compensation, big or small. She helps me with getting stuff bagged up, and she’ll just do it unprompted, usually afterwards she’ll strike up some conversation.
I don’t know if she does this on purpose, but I get the feeling that Tammy likes to touch me, and doesn’t mind being touched by me. Case and point; once when I had my hair down, Tammy came up to me and held my hair. She just, gently grabbed at my locks with both hands, and rubbed my hair, and said it was super pretty. She’s said this once before, but that other thing was new. There have been other, small things, like how she bumps arms with me when we have our whisper talks.
Sometimes when I talk to Tammy, she gets really intrigued at what I’m saying, even if it’s something I know she’s not into. Today, she bought shot bottles, even though she doesn’t drink, and she was asking me stuff like “what goes with apple whisky, what do you mix spiced rum with”. I told her what I like and do with what, and she got the mixers and bottles I suggested.
I’m not sure what to do. I don’t know how to talk to her about it, how to bring any of this up, because for all I know, she’s just a friendly older woman. I could just be imagining or misinterpreting things.
