29 Y.O WOMAN SAYS SHE’S GETTING OLD, NEED TO USE 100% BRAINPOWER JUST TO MAKE TEA

I hate being old.

I’m a 29 year old woman. I remember being 14/15 and the difference is like night and day. I’d always get straight A’s and I’d be able to understand something very quickly, much quicker than everyone else in my class. I also seemed to be able to move much more quickly.

Fast forward now, no exaggeration, half the time I don’t know what the day or date is, making a cup of tea seems to use 100% of my brainpower when before it’d only use 2%. I enjoy watching shows but I’m constantly forgetting the names of the characters or getting confused by the plot so much that I don’t know what’s going on. Actually, that applies to real life. Most of the time I don’t know what’s going on. A lot of the time, people have to repeat sentences because I’ll forget what someone says mid-sentence.

I’m sleeping up to 20 hours a day and when I wake up, I don’t feel much better than I did before I went to sleep. I don’t even feel like doing art like I used to, because it seems to use far too much energy and brainpower now. When I move, it feels like I’m moving in slow motion. This isn’t just me noticing this – other people have noticed how it looks like I’m moving in slow motion.

Also, constantly forgetting things. There’s also this weird 5-10 second delay between me thinking of doing something and then actually doing it, a delay which definitely was not there when I was 14/15.
