
There workplaces have been asked to stop operations for not complying to safe management measures.

More than 200 workplaces were inspected by the Minister of Manpower since the exiting of the circuit breaker period on Monday. There three workplaces which ceased work, were found to have instructed all employees to return to work in the office, instead of allowing employees to continue working from home.
MOM also issued 14 fines to companies who had breached requirements for safe measurement measures.
“If they are unable to provide a reasonable explanation, we will have to take enforcement action accordingly in order to protect employees,” it said.Â
