Due to the COVID situation, the border restriction between Singapore and Malaysia are still firmly in place. This means that many Malaysian who are working in Singapore has not returned home since the closure of the border between the two countries.

A Malaysian couple working in Singapore become concerned after receiving the news of the passing of their 3-year-old daughter. Thankfully, with the help of the authorities, the couple were able to return home to see their daughter for one last time.

According to local media, the young girl has passed away on 03 Feb 2021 in her hometown of Taiping in Perak Malaysia. It was reported that the girl had suffered from irregular bowel movements and had passed away in the hospital.

After receiving the news about their daughter passing, the couple immediately packed up and hope to return home to their daughter. However, the ongoing MCO in Malaysia has gotten into their way. Thankfully, with the help of the “Local Councillors,” the couple was still able to make it back on 05 Feb 2021.
