
Earlier this week on 18 January 2021, a 33-year-old allegedly went into a neighbor’s unlocked house when she is asleep. She was sleeping alone inside her house when the guy kissed her.
During the incident, the woman woke up and realized a man kissing her. She screamed at the man to get out of her house.
Then man then, locked himself in his own house until the police arrived. When the police arrived he refuses to open the door and threatened to jump down the building if the police continue.
The man finally followed the instructions of the police and open the door after 2 hours.
He was brought to CGH hospital and then transferred to IMH for a psychiatric check.
According to the police ” The offence of outrage of modesty carries an imprisonment term which may extend to two years, or fine, or caning, or any combination of such punishments. ” and also, “Criminal trespass carries an imprisonment term which may extend to three months, a fine which may extend to $1,500, or both.”
