
A 34-year-old female has been arrested for her alleged involvement in vice-related activities.
Officers from the Bedok Police Division conducted an anti-vice enforcement operation at a residential unit along Seraya Lane on September 29, 2021. According to preliminary investigations, the lady had reportedly given sexual services in the facility and had broken the rules of the Women’s Charter.

The police investigation is still underway. Any person who keeps, manages, or aids in the management of a place of assignation is guilty of an offence under Section 147(1A) of the Women’s Charter and is punishable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $100,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years, or both.
Persons who are convicted for the second or subsequent time face a fine of up to $150,000, a sentence of up to seven years in jail, or both.
A quick Google search reveals that Seraya lane consists of private estates.

The Police added that property owners should ensure that tenants do not carry out vice activities as the property owners can be implicated and even prosecuted if they knowingly allow their premises to be used for vice.
