37 Y.O MAN SLASHED IN HEAD & NECK AT TECK WHYE LANE LAST NIGHT

Two drinking buddies had an argument after drinking, a teen who is believed to be the son of one of the two men, pulled out a knife and slashed the person who was arguing with his father.

A 37-year-old man was slashed in several places on his head and neck. The area ended up with blood all over the area.

The incident took place last night (August 3rd) around 8PM in the vicinity of Teck Whye Lane Block 141.

According to photos posted by Shin Min Daily News, the area was cordoned off and the area was covered in blood, a man was seen sitted on the floor with blood on his head and beer cans could be seen in the area.

A man who was drinking with the parties involved reveal in an interview with Shin Min Daily News said that they started to fight shortly after an argument, he tried to pull them apart but it was too late, the teen slashed the man and ran away and he tried to gave chase but he could not keep up, reported

The Singapore Police Force confirmed the incident and also said that a 37-year-old man was sent to the hospital conscious.

The Police added that three men between the ages of 18 and 45 and a 25-year-old woman were arrested for the involvement.

Investigations are ongoing.

Penalties

According to Chapter 326 of the Penal Code, anyone who performs an act with a weapon that causes hurt to a person is guilty of Voluntarily Causing Grievous Hurt by Dangerous Weapons.

 Upon conviction, offenders could face a life imprisonment, or imprisonment for a term which may extend to 15 years, and caning, or fine.
