According to a police statement released on Friday, the two injured men, aged 23 and 24, were attacked by a group of men after a dispute. One of the assailants allegedly wielded a karambit knife during the assault. The SPF was able to identify and apprehend those involved later that day through thorough on-site investigations and the use of police camera footage.

The victims were conscious when they were transported to the hospital for treatment. Three of the suspects, ranging in age from 21 to 23, are expected to appear in court on Saturday. They have been charged with voluntarily causing harm with dangerous weapons, which carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison, a fine, caning, or any combination of these penalties. The remaining 23-year-old suspect is still being investigated by the authorities.

This incident highlights the importance of conflict resolution and the potential consequences of escalating disputes with violence. The SPF remains committed to maintaining the safety and security of Singapore’s residents and visitors, and swift action was taken to apprehend those responsible for this violent incident.
