It has been a week since there are any community cases but having a load of imported cases daily there is still a high risk of getting community cases.
According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), there are 25 confirmed cases of B117 here in Singapore.
1st case was imported, a 17 years-old female Singaporean who came back on 6 Dec from the UK. Was put on Stay-Home Knotice (SHN) and later tested positive on 8 Dec.
Another 19 cases of B117 were imported from Europe.
There are another 3 cases from the community working in the airport hotel. One was a 24 years-old permit holder from Korea who tested positive on 5 Jan working at Azur restaurant. His colleague a 43 years-old Malaysian woman was later tested positive on 6 Jan. A colleague of the first case, a 20 years-old Singaporean was later tested positive.
Another 2 community cases are a married couple. They were tested positive on 15 Jan. The man works at Singapore Scouts Association and also a part-time bus driver while his wife works at OCBC Tampines Centre One.
There is a chance of all 5 community cases linking. The couple were at Changi Airport Terminal 3 on 31 Dec from 2.35-9.50pm whereby, they might come across the Korean man when he was at Terminal 3 from 7.48-8.49pm.
As a precaution, all staff working in Jewel Changi and Terminal 3 were asked to go for Covid-19 test.
