At least 5 people were killed earlier today at around 5.30 AM, a BMW crashed into a shophouse at 37 Tanjong Pagar Road before bursting into flames.

A man was on the scene begging for his friends to be rescued.
Later that day LTA closed the road from Tanjong Pagar Road towards Murray Street
The family members of the deceased were on scene to identify the 5 bodies that were killed.
