The recent incident that caused the deaths of 5 people as their BMW crashed after losing control at Craig Road was allegedly due to them filming a video of them speeding.
A video that was recently uploaded showed a woman in grey who was actually recording them speeding. That woman was also seen together with the group of 5 that passed away and it is believed that the woman in grey was a friend.
She was seen squatting at the roadside with her phone and she was recording the speeding BMW as the car crashed into a shophouse at Tanjong Pagar. Many netizens have also said that the car was most probably attempting to do a drift at the bend which caused the crash.
One of the victims suffered close to 80 per cent burns to her body as she tried to save her fiance from the burning car. Five individuals were declared dead at the scene.
