The 1248sq ft unit was priced at SGD$833 per sq ft. The unit was located at Clementi Avenue 3. The flat is located near to the Clementi Mall, Clementi MRT station and interchange. The flat was left with a 91 years lease.
The HBD flat was bought by an elderly couple who wanted to downsize their home from private property in West Coast to a HDB flat. The couple had paid for the purchase in full cash.
The flat was on the market for 10 days before it was sold.
This is not the first time that a HDB flat was sold for over a million dollars mark in Singapore. As reported, in Mar 2020 at least 5 HDB resale flat was sold for at least SGD $1 million.
