6,264 NEW CASES ON 1 FEB 2022, 3 DEATH CASES

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported a total of 6,264 new cases on 1st February 2022 with 3 fatalities.

6,120 are local and 144 are imported cases.

Case details

Of the 6,264 new cases, 4,371 are Protocol 2 infections of which 4,352 are local and 19 are imported.

1,893 cases were confirmed after testing with PCR with 1,768 local cases and 125 imported cases.

MOH reported 3 death cases bringing to death toll to 858.

Hospital

There are currently 756 patients in the hospital with 66 of them requiring oxygen and 12 are in the ICU

92% of Singapore’s population has completed the vaccination program.

58% of Singapore’s population has received booster shots.

Statistics

In total Singapore has recorded 359,075 COVID-19 cases from the start of the coronavirus.

Death toll is at 858

The weekly infection growth rate is at 1.64.

In the last 28 days, there were 66,588 amount of cases with 97.7% of them with no or mild symptoms, 0.3% required oxygen supplementation, 0.04% is in the ICU, 0.02% died.
