73 Y.O SPOREAN DIED DUE TO COVID-19, 26 DEATH IN TOTAL

According to the Ministry of Health, a 73-year-old Singaporean man has become the 26th person who died due to COVID-19. He is identified as case 161 and he had passed away on 12 Jun 2020, three months after he was tested positive of COVID-19.

He has a history of hypertension, hyperlipidaemia and chronic kidney disease prior to the infectious disease. The NCID had reached out to his family and provide them with assistance.

As of yesterday (Jun 14), 768 more cases were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 28,808 have fully recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.

228 confirmed cases are still in the hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 1 is in critical condition in the intensive care unit. 11,135 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. 26 have passed away due to COVID-19.
