According to the Immigration Checkpoint Authority (ICA), 8,101 packets of chewing tobacco has been seized at the Woodlands Checkpoint on 15 Jan 2021.

It was reported that these items were wrapped in a black plastic bag and hidden under a pile of wood in a headboard of a Malaysia registered truck. The case has since been handed over to the Health Science Authourity (HSA) for further investigations.
