Another 7 charges were considered during his sentencing.

He had raped his 11-year-old daughter after getting advice from a “fengshui master”.

The parties cannot be named due to a gag order to protect the identity of the victim.

What happened?

The man visited a fengshui master in Malaysia in September 2019, who advised him to have sex with a virgin by the end of the year.

He reasoned that by doing so, he can “see blood”, so as to avoid a “life-threatening” accident that was waiting to happen in 2019.

The fengshui master told him that he could help him for RM 2,000, which the man declined because he couldn’t afford it.

The man (the father of the victim) was playing with his daughter in October 2018 when he started developing sexual desires for her.

He then molested her and told her not to tell anyone about it.

The man didn’t have chances to be alone with the girl at night because she avoided sleeping with him, so he could only be alone with her during the school holidays and on weekends.

Between October and December 2018, the girl’s sister and mother were out of the house buying groceries when the man entered her room and raped her.

She complained of pains and told him to stop, and he stopped before his wife and older daughter came back.

He then sexually assaulted her again before December 2018, while they were home alone together.

The victim didn’t tell anyone about the incidents as she didn’t want her parents to get a divorce.

The girl started misbehaving in school in August 2019 and was caught drinking alcohol and smoking an electronic cigarette.

She was then questioned by her teacher and the girl broke down, revealing that she was touched by her father.

A police report was then made on 29 August 2019.
