Travellers who are vaccinated can soon travel (via flights) between Singapore and Malaysia without being quarantined as early as 29 November.
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob released a joint statement announcing that both countries will be launching a Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) between Changi Airport and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
However, it is worth noting that the reopening only encompasses travel via air and excludes land travel via the Causeway and/or Second Link between the two countries.
Travellers who enter Singapore via the VTL need not serve a SHN, but instead will undergo a PCR test before departure and on arrival.
