One of the cases is a 24-year-old Singaporean woman working as a passenger service staff at Changi Airport.

She tested positive for the coronavirus on 8 December during her weekly Rostered Routine Testing for frontline workers and her PCR test revealed the S-gene Target Failure, which is associated with the Omicron variant.

She was asymptomatic at the time and self-isolated at home after being notified of her test result before being sent to NCID.
