A screenshot of a Whatsapp conversation between a netizen and a scammer has been circulating on social media.
This modus operandi of scam has been around for quite a while, where the scammer starts the conversation with their target with the typical introduction of pretending that they have lost contact with each other for a long time and have finally reunited.
The scammer will then follow up with a picture of a gorgeous looking lady after the introduction and asks if their target remembers them.
In the case of the scenario in the screenshot, the netizen decides to troll the scammer back with a picture of singer Wang Lee Hom, and asks if the scammer remembers him.
The scammer then replies to the netizen saying that the netizen is silly, which the netizen follows up saying that what he does is only a bit less silly than the scammer.
