The thread starter said that the pictures were taken as of 10 January 2022, at 7:30pm at the Kopitiam outlet inside Jurong Point.
In one of the photos, a staff was seen behind the tray return station trying to clear the used dining ware and they appear to be severely shorthanded.

Netizen claims operators cut manpower
A comment by a netizen also stated that he was told by the cleaning staff at these food courts that ever since the ‘self return’ rule was implemented, operators of these food establishments have cut headcounts to the extent where a usual sector which requires three staff have been cut to two or even one.
