A man was spotted removing his mask and having his meal on a public bus, this kind of behavior in Singapore is frowned upon.

“Yesterday I went to the chevrons and was heading back home in bus 105 as I was leaving I told the uncle there’s no eating allowed in the bus he just doesn’t give a dam about it.”
“Not wearing mask properly is one thing. We all see those types of people but when you ask them nicely to put it on and cover their nose most of them will say sorry right?”

For non-compliance with safe management measures under the COVID-19 offenders may be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$10,000, or both.
If they are caught by the Police for not wearing a mask or not wearing a mask properly they can be charged under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.
Penalties include a fine of up to SGD$10,000 and jailed for up to six months.
