According to the Ministry of Health, Singapore reports 1,448 new COVID-19 cases as of 12PM 19 January 2022.
990 cases were local and 458 are imported cases.
There are no death cases today.
To date, there are 294,462 COVID-19 cases and 843 fatalities in Singapore.
MOH said: *Amongst past reported cases, 589 Omicron cases were confirmed today, of whom 504 are local and 85 are imported.
The weekly infection rate is currently at 1.76
Hospitals and vaccine status
MOH reports, that 99.2% of cases are asymptomatic/mild symptoms.
Currently, there are 247 in the hospital with 16 of them that needs Oxygen supply. 13 patients are in the ICU.
90 percent of the population has received at least 1 dose of the vaccine
88% of the total population has completed 2 dose of vaccine
53% of the total population has received booster shots.
