The Sengkang Neighbourhood Police Centre recently published a Facebook post warning others of a new scam variant.

Here is what they said:
We detected a new variant of job Scam where the scammers will impersonate as Media Corp recruiting part-time staff. In order to find out more, Sengkang NPC officer went undercover into the 𝓣𝓲𝓰𝓮𝓻’𝓼 𝓓𝓮𝓷 and contacted the scammer.

- Thye claimed that they are from Amazon, Youtube, Instagram
- They want people get more clicks for them
- They collects personal information
- They create a groupchat using Mediacorp’s logo
- There are roughly 35 people in the group chat.
