Rejected by some hawkers
Some hawkers have reportedly reject receiving payments via the CDC vouchers as it comes in digital form.
These group of hawkers are usually the non IT savvy ones who are unfamiliar with using a mobile device and would prefer to have a physical voucher.
People’s Association to help these hawkers
According to Shin Min Daily News, ambassadors are sent by the People’s Association (PA) to educate these hawkers and to also encourage them to register and try out the platform.
A step by step demonstration on how to use the platforms are also given to the hawkers when they raise questions about the usage of the app.
