The boy was unhappy because his father questioned him about the scoop and he took a 9.5cm knife from the kitchen and hid it in his room.
The father continued to do laundry with the boy’s younger brother and he told the younger brother that the boy had thrown away the laundry scoop.

While the father was crouching in the laundry area, the boy came from behind and he stabbed the father in the neck from the back, the boy then threw the knife and ran back to his room and lock himself.
The father struggled to sit on a chair while the younger brother called the ambulance and his mother.
The boy exit his room and apologised to the father while the younger brother was applying pressure to the wound. The father soon lost unconsciousness.
