Here is the story

I used to steal $2 from my parents piggy bank every day when I was 10

A kid has no sense of responsibility and yet still selfish wanting more of literally everything they see.

When I was little, my parents only gave a $5 a day as pocket money and at first, it was fine to me. But as I aged a little, I notice I couldn’t buy things my classmates had and I always have to borrow it from them.

It was exhausting always have been told “why not buy it yourself” or “you could afford that, just buy one.”

So being pressured and with no discipline at all, I started to steal $2 (which is a really high amount of money for a ten yr old kid). They didn’t notice it though, AND IT’S FREAKING ME OUT SINCE I AM ALREADY 27 NOW AND THEY HAVEN’T QUESTIONED IT YET. geez.

Should I tell them?

Btw, I steal money from them almost every day for 3 whole years, all the way until i reached secondary 1.

The money accumulated is in the low two thousands, although I did spend some of it on toys when i was younger, the rest of the money still sits in my room lol.

Netizens comments

I stole thousands from my father as an older kid, young teen. He’d hand me his debit card and say go take out $20 and I’d take $40 or eventually even more.

I used to steal coins from my dad’s car when I was a kid to buy candy, many many years later I told him about it and he told me he put the coins there on purpose…lol
