UK’S PRINCE CHARLES TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID AGAIN

The Office of Prince Charles said today (10 Feb) that Prince Charles, who is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth 2 and also the successor to the British throne has tested positive for the virus for a second time.

He is currently being isolated by himself.

Due to unveil statue

The 73 year old Prince Charles was supposed to be in Winchester, a southern city in the UK today for the unveiling of a statue and expressed his disappointment for being unable to attend the pre planned events due to testing positive.

His official Twitter page added that he will find a time to reschedule the unveiling event.

Tested positive previously in 2020

In March 2020, Prince Charles had also tested positive for the virus and had self isolated at Balmoral residence in Scotland which belonged to the Queen.

Nothing was mentioned by the Office of Prince Charles as to when was the last time he came into close contact with the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth 2, aged 95 this year was suffering from certain health issues which forced her to step down from her official duties previously but is now filling her schedule as celebrations for her 70th year in throne will begin this week.

Prince Charles had earlier met with a few other people at the British Museum on Wednesday including Rishi Sunak, Britain’s finance minister.
