According to CNA, a fire has broken out at a factory in neighbouring Johor Bahru, in Pasir Gudang which resulted in a fireball and heavy smoke coming from the building.
Footage of the fire has been taken from various eyewitnesses in Singapore, who have filmed the fireball from the explosion from various parts of Singapore such as Pasir Ris and Punggol.
Smoke from the factory fire could be seen clouding the clear skies of the fine evening, as netizens wonder what had went wrong in the neighbouring country.
It is not known at the time of writing what had caused the fire and the story is still developing.

Netizens’ comments
Some netizens living just across the causeway from Pasir Gudang thought that they had heard explosion sounds, and went to their windows to see if anything had happened in the vicinity.
It was until they saw the footage by CNA before they realised the fire was what had probably caused the explosion sounds that they have previously heard.
Many stood by in solidarity with out friends across the causeway, hoping that everything is fine.
