A Facebook user, “Singaporean NA”, shared how she is having a dispute with her neighbour, which is escalating.
Her neighbour has allegedly been “smearing” her with allegations, with the HDB, police and the Community Mediation Centre all being roped in to their drama.
Here is what she said:
Apparently, my next-door neighbour initiated the CMC session after seeing me making a police report. I went to CMC although I was hesitant because they are unreasonable people based on our previous conversations. However, I still went as advised by relevant authorities, wanting to resolve issues and claim back my damages (medical bills and damaged windows). I was initially thinking to let the matter rest if they were to apologise for the incident and return my claims.
During the CMC session, the female owner did not even apologise for 01 Oct 2021 incident but smeared me with more allegations. She and her male friend clearly witness her male occupant shouting directly at me in close range without wearing a mask. He even blocked my way on going back to my unit with his body along the corridor. The male occupant knew that only me and my 85 years old grandma is alone in our home at that time. In the attached video, you can see the guy walking along the corridor and shouting without wearing a mask.
When I request back for my claims (ear medical bills and window damages), the male occupant gave me a smirk smile and said he did not bang on my windows nor shouted into my ears. The female owner even told the mediators that she got depression due to me but she don’t intend to claim from me. She has forgiven me, which I replied that she don’t have to (since I did not do anything to them). She then replied “I have to because my god told me to”.
These are some new allegations/accusations (which I find it amusing) that she cannot substantiate:
1) Hinting that I made a complaint to HDB saying her windows is not compliant, she changed her corridor windows in Oct as her male occupant punched and broke her windows earlier. Her male occupant shouted at us, broke the window and even chased me and my 1-year old to another neighbour’s unit. They only retreat back into their unit when the neighbour’s helper said she called the police (attached police report).
2) Spreading lies that my mother, me, my husband and my child were being quarantined. I think she also mentioned because we are quarantined, she was staying in her relative’s home for that period.
3) I bang on my bedroom wall 4-6 daily (when asked her morning or night, she could not answer. When I told her to call the police because it was not us, she said no use because I will do it again. When I emphasize it was not us and to check carefully, she said only God knows who did it.
Anyone has the same bad experience with these 2 people (I think the female owner is called *name redacted* and the male occupant is called *name redacted*.
Anyone know their friend in the picture (the other guy in white polo), please let me know. Alternatively, if you know someone who might witness the event or heard the argument, please let me know.
If you are staying around this area, beware and avoid of the guy because he likes to shout at people and like to provoke people into a fight. Previously, he chased and shouted at me and my 1-years old to another neighbour’s unit. Worst of all now he knows he can shout at people but will not be arrested.
