Since 1 March 2022, popular supper spot and dim sum restaurant, 126, or Wen Dao Shi in Geylang is no longer operating for 24 hours like it used to.
Instead, the operating hours have changed to 10.30am to 3am.
126 Dim Sum has two outlets in Singapore, with the other one at Boon Keng operating from 5pm to 2am daily.

A notice in both English and Chinese was put up on Facebook today (8 March) on 126 dim sum’s Facebook page which cited three-fold increases in electricity prices as well as manpower shortages as the reasons for the change in operational timings.
Here is what the notice reads:
“Dear Customers
Due to shortage of manpower and the 3 fold increase in electricity prices, management have decided to shorten the operating hours from 10:30am to 3am instead of 24 hours at 126 Sims Ave (S387449) with effect from 01/Mar/2022.
Thank you!
