Photographer Mak Wei Seng, shared a stunning photo that he took onto the Photographic Society of Singapore’s Facebook page on 23 April.
The incredible photo shows a bolt of lightning heading straight for a unit in the HDB building, appearing to hit a window in the middle floors.

Captioning his photo, Mak said:
“Looks like it’s heading straight into the house….
Does anyone know why the lightning did not strike the top of the building where the lightning rods are located?”
Some netizens asked if the HDB building was still under construction, reasoning that perhaps the exposed scaffolding had attracted the lightning bolt towards it.
However, Mak revealed that the HDB building was occupied with people living there, sharing a photo of the building with lights being switched on by the occupants inside.
