Local celebrity Dennis Chew, 49-years-old, won the Best Radio Programme at Star Awards last week, and now he is a full-time student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Chew started school yesterday (25 April) after enrolling in the Chinese Media and Communication diploma programme at NP.
He reasoned that he wanted to understand himself, the work that he does and the youths of today better.
Chew also added that many of his peers in the industry were NP graduates, hence he made the decision to pursue the diploma at the same school.
On his first day of school, Chew was even mistaken as a new lecturer during orientation week, and the students were in disbelief when he said he was a student like them.
On his Instagram post, he shared that he was nervous and excited for his first day at school, and that he needs to learn how to use a MacBook.
