Late actor Aloysius Pang’s final movie, The Antique Shop, is set to be released posthumously in Thailand in June.
Pang’s mentor, Dasmond Koh, posted an announcement onto his Instagram page on Tuesday, along with two movie posters with one of them featuring Pang.
A trailer of the horror movie was also shared on the Facebook and Instagram pages of NoonTalk Media.
Koh revealed that the movie will be first released on 2 June, but the local release date for the horror movie is yet to be confirmed.
Pang was tragically killed during a live firing exercise in New Zealand back in January 2019, when he was on reservist duty, performing repairs on a Singapore Self Propelled Howitzer.
He was in the path of the barrel that was automatically lowered within the cabin of the Howitzer and was crushed.
Pang was filming The Antique Shop but couldn’t finish the movie, and it was finally completed after pandemic delays.
The original storyline of the movie has been split into three parts, with Noontalk artists Xu Bin and Damien Teo set to star in the movie.
Other actors featuring in the movie include South Korean singer Bae Jin-young, Indonesian actor Rio Dewanto and Thai actors Phiravich Attachitasaporn, and Chayapak Tunprayoon.
