15 PEOPLE DIED IN FIRE AFTER THAILAND NIGHTCLUB GOES UP IN FLAMES

A fire took place at a nightclub located in Thailand and 15 people died from the fire while 40 others were injured.

This fire occurred at ‘Mountain B’ , a famous nightclub along Sukhumvit Bangna – Trad Road, Soi Sattahip, Sukhumvit 99, Chonburi Province.

Huge fire

At least 20 fire trucks were deployed to stop the fire at the nightclub, and the acoustic foam that was installed on the walls of the nightclub resulted in accelerating the fire.

A video was uploaded on Twitter and several people were seen escaping from the night club were they on fire.

In the clip of the event that has been published widely. It also reveals customers trying to flee while the fire rages at the nightclub.

Firefighters managed to stop the fire after 3 hours.

There is only one way out, which is the front door. Some of them who couldn’t escape sooner was severely burned.

Dead bodies were found, including 4 women and 11 men, lying dead in a pile. 4 people in front of the door, 3 in the men’s restroom, behind the DJ booth, 1 in the cashier’s booth, 2 in front of the cashier, 3 in the condition of the body in a burnt condition.

Nightclub owner

The nightclub owner who later turned himself in at aa Police station is facing several charges as he operated the nightclub without a license.

He is facing charges of causing death through recklessness which has a maximum penalty of 10 years in jail and 200,000 baht fine.
